If you are looking for Pre-Existing Condition coverage or Cancel For Any Reason must purchase a Tin Leg policy within 14 days of making their initial trip deposit.

Many standard Trip Cancellation policies offered through Squaremouth can be purchased up until the day before departure. Other Squaremouth providers also offer these time-sensitive benefits. Depending on the provider, policies with Pre-Existing Condition Coverage or Cancel For Any Reason are available for 14-30 days after the initial deposit date.

Some International Medical policies offered through Squaremouth can be purchased after you have started traveling.

Travelers can insure their prepaid and non-refundable trip expenses. Prepaid and non-refundable trip expenses commonly include airfare, hotel accommodations, cruises, tours, and excursions. Frequent flyer miles and rewards points are not insurable and should not be included.vTravelers have the option to insure all, some, or none of their trip cost. All Tin Leg and some of Squaremouth policies that offer Cancel For Any Reason, and some that offer Pre-Existing Condition coverage, require travelers to insure 100% of their trip cost.

A beneficiary is the person who would receive the benefits from Accidental Death and Dismemberment coverage if you pass away during the trip. You can choose anyone you like as a beneficiary, however, you can also choose to leave the field blank, in which case, the default beneficiary will be your spouse, children, parents, siblings, then estate. For all Squaremouth providers, adding a beneficiary is optional. If travelers choose not to designate a specific person, the default beneficiary would follow this order: spouse; children; parents; siblings; estate.
